Leaky Heart Angel

"Lost love and broken hope
I'm a leaky heart angel
that can't keep her wings up" -Leaky Heart Angel

Lost Love and Broken Hope.
This is actually a poem i wrote after reading some abstract quote about angels and i realized how the word angel is used as an affectionate word to describe a girl. and usually they are filled with love and over flowing with emotion. i mean.. blonde hair, blue eyes, angelic voice, and don't forget that harp! So I thought, what if the the angel had her own heat in her hands and she was looking at it bleeding.
that's essentially where i got Leaky Heart Angel from.

Now lets go to the first line... lost love. This can either mean love that is lost... (oh no i lost mom at Walmart!) OR that love HAS lost. In this day and age... where does love come in? oh righttt... it comes in handy to share your status on Facebook and obviously tag your significant other in cute pictures -even if they're not true. But what really is love? Ill tell you what love is... love is the greatest mysteries of all time! People are always coming up with ways to define life and love. They don't realize that it can not be defined!

Love lost can also be that love has lost the race of life and something more important has won.

Broken Hope. Broken is something that has already been shattered and has cracks. Crevices that can not be filled in. Broken hope is like broken glass. Even if you glue the peices back, the scars that have been made-swear to never fade.
Broken can be used to describe a person. That pieces of them have been lost and they can't really find them. Thier puzzle of life has,not only one missing piece but rather a few... The puzzle pieces are gone or missing they are torn and ruined.

Hope. You make a circle with your mouth emitting a beautiful gentle breeze and ends with a rabbit hop , pop of p. HAPPINESS.
What is hope? Hope is when you invest you feelings that someone good will happen, or in most cases-things will get better. It's as strong as the circle of life and as essential too.
Hope is what drives people toa better day even though all looks bleak. So broken hope...? Broken hope is when the circle of life is broken when the most essential thing to feel is broken and that causes that chain of emotions to topple like a domino effect. In the end of the day causing the rest of the emotions to topple down as well. Hope is the foundation for life. Broken hope means that she has lost. She has lost...just like who? Just like love.

It's a pessimistic approach- but love has come to mean almost nothing. The narrator has realized that. Realized that love has been lost in this world due to other things taking over our lives. Love has been lost in the many definitions we give it. Love has been lost to those who lie that they love. Love has been lost and there is no hope to find it.

Life has no lost and found box.
